We are very excited to host Black Joy: Thrive Men's Retreat III in beautiful Accra, Ghana. We are connecting an exceptional community of brothers, committed to actually helping each other discover, uncover, nurture and develop their gift; and to use it to THRIVE.

November 1st through November 5th, 2023


Accommodations

Accommodations: luxury accommodations in stunning Ghana. All accommodations are single occupancy. You will receive the specific address to the location once you confirm your attendance.

Arrival and departure

We are asking you to arrive by Wednesday evening, October 31st. We will finish programming at 2:00 on Sunday, November 5th. 


Arrivals and departures are at Kotoka International Airport (ACC). Participants are responsible for the cost of their travel to and from Accra, Ghana.

Retreat Pricing

$7,500 per person. This price covers all room and board, food and drink and retreat activities and gear.

3. Complete the retreat survey that will be sent to you under separate cover. This survey is essential to us providing a bespoke experience crafted specifically for YOU! This survey will include questions about your preference in food, music, drink and mood. We want you to truly know what it feels like to live in a world built for you. A place where you are celebrated not tolerated. 

4. Pack comfortably. Retreat dress is casual. We will be flexing and flowing and moving our bodies daily.

Visa Requirements

  • All visitors entering Ghana must have valid entry visas. There are two types of visas: Single entry visas are valid for a period of three months and must be utilized within three months from the date of issue. The second option is Visa on Arrival (VOA), which we will help facilitate, if preferred. Make sure that your passport is valid for at least six months following your return from Ghana, and that you have at least one blank page available for the entry stamp.


  • A COVID19 vaccination certificate is required to enter Ghana, non-resident without a COVID19 vaccination are not allowed to enter. You must have been double vaccinated. Similarly you are required to have a yellow fever vaccination card to enter.


  • All travelers are recommended to take out personal/medical travel insurance ahead of the trip. If you’re planning on getting your adrenaline fix during your trip, make sure


  • Please visit www.ghanaembassydc.org/visa/ for information on how to obtain a tourist visa if you decide not to obtain the Visa on Arrival.
